Gemma and Will were married in the magnificent Randolph Hall at Glasgow University. The setting was both romantic and fitting as they first met there during Freshers Week when they joined the University. After the ceremony, we were off in another beautiful car from Waterside Weddings. The journey to the reception at The Gailes Hotel, Irvine, gave us the opportunity for one of our Team Thomson trademark shots of a wedding car at speed on the highway (note to solo photographers – don’t try this while driving, you really need a Team!).
Capturing the true emotion of the day is our speciality, and I love the photo where Will first catches sight of Gemma, and the last image which is a shared private moment just before going in to dinner. Both images are of real moments, captured without any photographer interference.
