Nisreen & Ib | Wedding Photography at Cornhill House

Nisreen and Ib planned the wedding with everything – and then added a bit more! The ceremony incorporated both Sudanese and Scottish traditions to reflect the backgrounds of the couple, and many family members were involved. Then African dancers entertained the guests, followed by belly dancers, followed by dinner, speeches, a candle-lit cake cutting in the gazebo, followed immediately by fireworks, a ceilidh and then a paper lantern release – wow!  Apologies if I missed anything, but my head is still reeling.  The entire event took place in the beautiful Clyde Valley surroundings of Cornhill House at Biggar.

Nisreen and Ibnauf Suliman - Thank you Ken and Janet for truly making the best job of our wedding. From the first time we spoke, you (Ken) set our minds at ease by your great attitude and manner. We especially liked the extra effort you put in getting to know us and our friends from facebook, it meant a lot. From then on, we were truly inspired by your professionalism before, during and after the wedding. You gave us great advice for the setup and seeing the pre-wedding shoot album on the day gave us a great boost to start the day. The photo guestbook was a great touch and all the guests loved that they could write their messages along the photos that were just taken. When we arrived back from our honeymoon, the best surprise was finding the CD and prints with all our pics ready for us. The photos were just great, there was depth in each and every one and captured the whole day. You captured so much and gave more than a window but an experience in each photo you took. Lets just say we spent hours looking at them. Thank you very much. As for the slideshow, that was easily the highlight, it has reached all corners of the world and was a fantastic touch. We can not thank you enough now seeing the album to be online. A special thanks to Janet for making it look like a work of art. Above all, for us starting our lives, it really is very nice to see a married couple working so well together. You make a great team and we are definitely very pleased we chose you to be our wedding photographers. We wish you the best in all you do. For those reading and contemplating whether to book Ken and Janet, trust me you will have the best team around and will not be disappointed. These guys will make your day hang around forever!
