Team Thomson Photography is the husband and wife team of Ken and Janet Thomson. We named our business to reflect the fact that we work together as a team, each contributing our unique talents to the final result. Sometimes we both photograph your wedding, other times only Ken, depending on your preferences and budget. Either way we always work as a team, encouraging one another and lending our special skills and expertise to the finished wedding album.
Ken is the principal photographer and the creative force behind the business. Ken has a great way with people, either individually or in groups. Combined with his artistic eye and camera and computer skills, Ken is ideally qualified to be a wedding photographer - it is his ideal job. Ken's experience in Customer Service Management for large companies in both the UK and the USA is evident in his passion for quality and service.
Janet brings another set of artistic skills to the team - she is an accomplished watercolourist and adds her own unique perspective to the wedding day coverage when couples book us to provide team coverage. Her graphic arts degree is put to excellent use as our expert on album design and framing, and her organisation skills ensure the business side is taken care of too!
Together, we specialise in capturing the romance and emotion of your wedding day with our natural, unobtrusive photography style, and in producing beautiful custom made albums and moving DVD slideshows.
